I had the chance to fly to San Diego for work last weekend. It was awesome! Burnt my nose pretty bad though. My hotel was right next to Petco field and we watched the Padres play the Giants from the hotel's roof top deck!!
That's me and a doctor from my area. We headed to Coronado island and toured around for an afternoon. THe Hotel Coranado is HUGE and has some rich history. We went through it and sat on the beach for a while. How relaxing! Turns out this is the same vacation that Cari just went on... I didn't put the two together. Silly me!
ANyway- we also had some severe storms when I returned. Evidence of a tornado in a neighboring community. My neighborhood was unscathed. Scary!

Looks like a nice trip. I stayed in a hotel right next to Petco as it was being built when I was there for a neurosurg conference in my past life.
I was born in San Diego! Love that town.
